Today, professor of ancient folklore sits in his empty study, thumbing through pages of an ancient book. He muses over diagrams that only he can translate, and reminisces about old journeys and friends he has lost.

20 years ago, a young man enters an ancient temple in search of the truth. He finds a relic that he takes back with him to the states, and is forever cursed.

5 years ago, the professor is visited by a strange man who tells him to meet him under a bridge at midnight. That night, he finds that he has been watched closely by an ancient order.
